ICO to PNG: One Click Solution for Perfect Images

 I was recently asked how to convert an ICO file to a PNG. The ICO format is a file format used to store icons on Windows. ICO files can contain multiple sizes and color depths. ICO files are usually small in size, and they can be easily converted to PNG without any quality loss.

To convert an ICO file to a PNG, you can use any online converter or a software like GIMP.

The ICO have been quick to point out that this is not the first instance of a business failing to protect people's data.In 2014, a UK-based company called TrueCall Limited was fined £300,000 by the ICO for unlawfully recording and storing more than 21 million calls.

And in 2016, a company called The Experian was fined £1.2 million for failing to protect the personal data of more than 14 million people.

The ICO's Deputy Commissioner for Data Protection, James Dipple-Johnstone, said: "The GDPR makes it clear that organisations must take appropriate steps to protect people's personal data.

"This includes ensuring that staff are trained in data protection and that strong security measures are in place to protect people's information.

"When businesses fail to do this, we will take action."

Under the GDPR, businesses can be fined up to 4% of their global annual turnover or €20 million (whichever is greater) for breaching the rules.

The GDPR comes into force on 25 May 2018 and will replace the 1995 Data Protection Act.
